Chapter 14

  • *.*.*.*
  • Writer's POV:
  • Seokjun had found the library in the big house and went there to bury his nose in the best novels he could find.
  • He was surprised to discover that the library had a lot of gay romance novels. He'd not expected it.
  • 'Is Mr. Kim, gay? Or is it Mr. Min?'
  • He wondered then shrugged it off because it wasn't his business after all.
  • He sat at the office desk in a corner and opened one of the novels he'd picked. It was an erotic romance, gay novel. Jun had read a lot of novels and had a preference for erotic ones. He always liked to bury himself in them, travel away into their world, and imagine living the lives of the characters. Jun had not been in a relationship for a long time because of school, Taeho, and then his job. His life was monotonous and boring. He wished he could live excitingly but alas, he was always preoccupied with a lot.
  • Jun wanted spice in his life. He wanted a strong man that would make him see life differently. A little more excitingly. A man that would appreciate him and see beyond his physical beauty. A man that would make his insides heat up and make love to him passionately.
  • Jun bit his lip as he thought of all this. He sighed because he might never find that perfect man.
  • Sighing, he began to read the erotic novel.
  • ~
  • Jun remained in the library for more than an hour, still reading that particular novel that had the longest and most sensual chapters.
  • He was reading about a strong man and his hidden lover. They weren't meant to be because of their class differences and were forced to stay away from each other. However, they would find ways to meet in their secret place. And whenever they did, the sheets would be covered in the never-ending pleasure and overflowing passion.
  • Jun's face was bright pink as he read one more steamy chapter between the protagonist of the novel and his lover.
  • '...And his lips met that of his lover with a feverish passion. Their tongues intertwined and fought for dominance over each other. He craved him. He needed him. He needed to quench his thirst.
  • The pauper gasped when the captain continued to assault him in a way that drove him wild. He was lust-crazed and clinging to the captain for dear life.
  • "My captain..." the pauper breathed, "...please, love me now. Claim me like you rightfully should. Make me yours once again. Satisfy me and quench my thirst..."
  • Hearing these words from his beloved did nothing but increase the burning desire in the captain's lungs.
  • He grabbed the pauper's garments and tore the weak cloth into two, exposing the younger fully to him. He attacked his pale skin, trailing kisses, and bites over the young man's chest.
  • The pauper moaned and arched his back when his captain took ahold of his throbbing member, tugging on the sensitive part and making the pauper whimper in delight. Oh, how he loved it when his captain was rough and lust-crazed...'
  • "Fuck..." Jun whispered to himself as he read on, his cheeks pink and his dick once again semi-hard. How he wished to be in the pauper's place.
  • How he wished to be sweetly assaulted and claimed. How he wished to be handled and made love to by a real man. Jun had always had a preference for masculine, dominant men.
  • He was carried away in his novel and almost touching his growing erection when the door flung open all of a sudden and Kim Namgyu walked it.
  • Jun panicked, standing immediately and hopelessly trying to hide the book. Unfortunately for him, the novel fell and Namgyu saw it. Jun joined his hands in front of him to hide his semi-erection, printing against his sweatpants.
  • Namgyu looked up from the book to meet Seokjun's flustered self. He smirked. Seokjun felt his breath hitch. That smirk was–
  • He knew the CEO was handsome but he'd never really paid attention to the man in front of him. He was perfection up to his fingernails. A real man, he was.
  • Seokjun noticed how slightly messy his hair was, making him so goddamn sexy. His tie had been loosened and the first two buttons were undone, exposing a golden necklace Seokjun had never noticed. He was without a suit and his white shirt's sleeves had been carefully folded up to his elbows. Of course, it was inevitable for anyone to notice how fitting his shirt was and how it stuck perfectly to his muscular torso.
  • Seokjun realized his mouth was watering and he gulped. Kim Namgyu was hot. Very hot. Kim Namgyu was his type of man.
  • "Doctor," he said casually, walking over to Jun who snapped out of his thoughts.
  • He watched Namgyu pick the novel before he could do anything. He froze, red with embarrassment when Namgyu began to read a few lines from the page Seokjun had been reading earlier.
  • Namgyu, smirk still on, bit his lip and looked up at the flustered doctor.
  • "You're a bookworm, doctor?" he asked, handing the book to Jun who took it with shaky hands.
  • "Uh– yes. I love novels." Jun cleared his throat.
  • "Like me." Namgyu smiled and his dimples had goosebumps covering Seokjun's skin. Why was the man this gorgeous?
  • "I bought most of the novels in this library." Namgyu went on, "I enjoy them. The one in your hand is one of my favorites. Full of passion." he smiled.
  • "I would relate to the protagonist in it. The captain. I think we have a lot in common."
  • Seokjun opened his mouth to say something but he couldn't think of something right. He wanted to say he related to the pauper but at that moment, he deemed it necessary to keep that information to himself.
  • "Tell me." Namgyu continued, "Why read same-sex romance novels?"
  • Jun was surprised by the question but he still answered.
  • "Uh, because I– I'm not straight. But you already knew that." Jun cleared his throat.
  • Namgyu's brows shot up in surprise.
  • "Really? Now I understand when I was told you were on a date with another man the night of the incident. I assumed it was a friendly date. Was that your boyfriend?" he asked, pocketing his hands.
  • "No. He– he is a colleague."
  • "Oh. He works at the hospital too?"
  • "Yes."
  • Namgyu nodded.
  • "Oh, before I forget, I spoke with Dr. Kyunsoo and your other superiors concerning your sudden absence. I told them not to worry. And so, if you're free from here someday, don't worry, you still have your job. You can continue whenever."
  • Seokjun nodded, clutching the novel to his chest.
  • Namgyu stared at him. He looked angelic and pure. The sunlight from the windows reflected against his white T-shirt and makes him look surreal. There was a moment of silence between the two.
  • Seokjun blushed hard as he watched Namgyu's eyes scan his body.
  • Namgyu had never indeed seen a man as attractive as Seokjun. For two weeks that he'd had the doctor in his house, he admired the man's beauty from afar always. He was so unproblematic, unlike Jung Hosun. He was respectful and did his best to stay on the low and make himself almost invisible.
  • Namgyu couldn't lie to himself that he hadn't thought, at least once, what it would feel like to hold Seokjun tight against himself and kiss on his plump, pink lips. He was a man with desires and a usually active sexual life after all.
  • However, Seokjun was a no go zone because he was a captive. His prisoner. An innocent man that ended up there for the wrong reasons. He wasn't the type to take advantage of the helpless. And so, it was a no.
  • "See you at dinner, doctor," Namgyu said, grabbing a novel from the shelves and turning on his heel to leave.
  • Jun had seen that the CEO had taken a gay romance novel as well. Curiousness took a greater part of him and he spoke without thinking.
  • "Why buy gay romance novels, Mr. Kim?"
  • Seokjun immediately regretted his question and covered his mouth.
  • Namgyu halted and turned, looking at the flustered doctor. He smiled a little.
  • "You should know, doctor." was his simple reply before walking out.
  • Jun released a breath he didn't know he was holding.
  • 'He is gay? Mr. Kim Namgyu, is gay?'
  • Seokjun regained his seat and continued to read. But there was something different in the way his imagination now worked while reading the novel.
  • He still imagined himself as the pauper, but instead of some blurred face man with a great body, Seokjun now imagined Kim Namgyu as the novel's captain.
  • Jun tried to shake it out of his head but to no avail. Namgyu was stuck and Jun had to deal with it.
  • Not that he was bothered or complaining. And to be honest, the captain's description fit the CEO perfectly.
