Chapter 11

  • Jun's POV:
  • I gasped when a guard barged into my room the next morning with a terrified and blindfolded Taeho.
  • I jumped off my bed immediately.
  • "Taeho?!"
  • "Hyung?!"
  • He was thrown at my feet and the guard left. I immediately knelt and pulled him into my arms.
  • "Taeho!" I felt my eyes water when he hugged me back.
  • Writer's POV:
  • "Junnie Hyung!" the younger sobbed and Jun hurried to untie his hands and blindfold.
  • Taeho opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was his brother's flawless face.
  • "Hyung! You're alive! It is you!"
  • They hugged tight, Jun covering his younger brother's face with kisses. Taeho was his only family. His baby.
  • "Are you okay?? What happened?? Why are you here??" Jun asked.
  • "I was on my way to school when I was suddenly dragged into a black van. And– and they told me to stop screaming, saying that I was going to be with my family soon."
  • Jun's eyes widened a little as he understood something.
  • "I– I begged Mr. Kim to let me talk to you. To let me see you to at least tell you I was fine."
  • "Mr. Kim??" Taeho looked at his brother with furrowed brows. "Kim Namgyu?? He's behind this?? Why–"
  • Taeho stopped talking when the bathroom door flung open and a freshly showered and dressed Hosun stepped out. Hosun too was surprised to see a new face.
  • "Who's this?" he asked in wonder.
  • "Sunny, this is Taeho. My brother."
  • Hosun's eyes widened and he flashed Taeho the brightest smile.
  • "Tae-ah. I've heard so much about you from Jun Hyung. Hi, I'm Hosun and –" Hosun cut his sentence short and frowned when he realized something was off.
  • "Wait... How– What is he doing here??" he asked Jin.
  • "Remember I begged Mr. Kim to let me speak with Tae? Well, this is the result." Jun sighed.
  • "Oh." Hosun shook Taeho's hand, "I'm sorry you're in this mess too, now."
  • "You're withheld here too?" Taeho asked, "What happened, Hyung?"
  • Both older men proceeded to narrate their sides of the story and how it'd been hell for them until recently when they were being treated a little better.
  • "Now that I think of it..." Taeho stared intensively at Hosun, "You look familiar. Which school did you drop out from?"
  • Hosun told him.
  • "Aha! You're the guy that was seated behind me in the amphitheater and talking to himself!" Taeho pointed out.
  • Realization hit Hosun as well as he suddenly recognized the thick brows and handsome face.
  • "Right. The coincidence," Hosun chuckled.
  • "There's something I wonder about. Mr. Kim refused continuously that I speak to my brother. Why suddenly change his mind?"
  • They had no idea.
  • The door was suddenly opened again.
  • "Breakfast will be in ten minutes." the guard announced and left.
  • "Thank goodness. I'm fucking starving." Hosun groaned.
  • "Do you ever not eat?" Jun laughed.
  • "Nope."
  • *.*
  • During those ten minutes, Seokjun told his brother about the personalities of both Kim Namgyu and Min Yoonjin. He advised his brother to be obedient and not try to get on their bad side. He didn't have to question their orders and had to make himself small.
  • "Something Hosun here has been unable to do since we were brought here." Seokjun shook his head at Hosun who scoffed.
  • Soon enough, the door was opened and they were all surprised to see Jeonkuk enter, followed by a serious Chimin.
  • "G– good morning, Dr. Kim." he bowed respectfully, "Hosun, Hyung, and..." his eyes fell on a very handsome Taeho and he was surprised. Shocked rather.
  • "Taeho," Tae answered with a frown, "The fuck are you??"
  • Jun immediately elbowed his brother who yelped.
  • "Language! What did I just tell you?" Seokjun whispered before turning to Jeonkuk and standing, a warm smile on his lips.
  • "Jeonkuk. Good morning. I'd told you at the hospital to call me Jun Hyung."
  • Hosun didn't even bother returning the greeting.
  • "Ooh, he's Mr. Kim's brother." Taeho realized with a nod.
  • Jeonkuk turned to Chimin.
  • "Hyung? What is he doing here?? My brother had him kidnapped??" he asked with wide eyes.
  • Chimin shrugged.
  • "You asked him to let the doctor see or speak to his brother, right? Here's the outcome. What did you expect? You know how the bosses operate." Chimin stated in a manner of fact.
  • Jeonkuk turned to face the others.
  • "So it's because of you that I'm here, huh?" Taeho folded his arms and watched Jeonkuk grow nervous and blush.
  • "I– I'm so sorry. To you too, Jun Hyung. I had no idea my brother would do this instead. I thought he was going to let you call him. I'm so sorry." he apologized, hands joined in front of him.
  • "It's fine, Jeonkuk. Thank you for your help because, in the end, I did get to see my brother. Though I would've preferred it to be in different circumstances." Jun chuckled.
  • "You're welcome, Hyung. Please, do join us for breakfast. All of you."
  • "Finally! An interesting topic." Hosun exclaimed and stood from where he'd been sprawled on the bed.
  • "My hyungs agreed to give you some freedom a little earlier than planned after I convinced them. You can visit the house and gardens. Please, do not try anything. They gave strict orders to the guards."
  • The three nodded.
  • "You're cooler than your Hyung," Hosun said with a smirk. Jeonkuk smiled a little and led the way out. They followed him.
  • Now that this bit of freedom was involved, a lot of things were bound to happen. And in a good way, between the captives and the bosses.
