"Why, Astrid? Why did you do it?" He roars angrily, as he clenches his fists beside him, while he grits his teeth. His blood boils in rage as he stares at her. It's only taking all of his self-restraint not to pounce on her and rip her heart off her chest, but he has no idea for how long he will be able to control this demonic anger that keeps trying to consume him.
Astrid drops her gaze sadly as a drop of tears slid down her cheek. Her cover has just been blown, and she's in a deep mess now. Alpha Damien won't spare her, and she knows it. She feels her world crashing down to her feet, and the more the seconds ticks, the more she feels her doom drawing close to her, and she can't help the fear that keeps penetrating her bones and all of her.
