Chapter 39

• "What are you doing here?" Hearing that familiar icy voice, she stops abruptly on her track and takes a deep breath, trying not to appear nervous. Turning around, she almost jumps out of her skin at the sight that welcomes her. There is Astrid, glaring hard at her.
• "I asked a question, what are you doing here? Are you here to steal something?" Astrid questions her again, and she scoffs unbelievably as she tilts her head around as if she's searching for something.
• "I asked a question, what are you searching for?" Astrid sounds pissed.
