• Margaret was in her office, a space she had ordered to be prepared within her cabin. She meticulously stowed away each file that the investigators had delivered, containing detailed reports on her grandchildren's lives, when the doorbell rang.
• She swiftly secured the folders in a locked drawer and rose to open the door. It was her sons, Ricardo and Hector.
• Immediately, Margaret sensed that this early morning visit wasn't about familial pleasantries, evident from the serious expressions on their faces.
