• “The marriage between your parents, was more like a business deal.” Alexander started. “The Trapani family were on top for a long time and after maintaining their position during a very bloody timeframe, they were running short of soldiers. Caruso on the other hand had what the Trapani lacked, but could never have a shot at their position and although they chose to distance themselves from the conflict, they could not refuse the juicy offer when it came; a large portion of the cake.
• Caruso was asked to join forces with the Trapani and when all was done, they would get a twenty five percent from all dealings. Considering how deals go sour, they opted for a better assurance and for that reason the marriage was proposed.
