• I stared at Morgan’s retreating figure, my heart beating wildly with each step she took towards the door. I pushed to, but just before my feet could move, I felt an arm grab mine. Turning around, I saw that it was Kai….he held onto me, that love-struck look in his eyes as he stared at me. I wanted to scream. “Let me. go.” I hissed, emphasizing each word so he’d know just how much I hated him.
• “No….why are you doing this?” he asked, looking like I'd actually hurt him. “I told you I would break up with her so you and I could finally be together….we’re free now.” He pulled me closer, actually daring to wrap those arms around my waist so he hugged me….more like kept me prisoner so I could not follow after him.
