Chapter 151 No Control

• SLOANE’S POINT OF VIEW.
• The air around us shifted as I looked into his eyes. I could tell instantly that something was wrong. The hue in his eyes appeared darker than I’d ever seen before. My mind screamed to me once again that my boyfriend was not okay. With a gulp, and my nerves on edge, I softly caressed his leather-clad shoulders;
• “Lucien…..are you alright?” He looked straight at me, but it felt like he wasn’t seeing me. I gulped again, but didn’t let up on my gentle caress on his shoulders. Standing on my tippy toes, I softly pecked his cheek and massaged the hair on the spot close to his neck. The contact seemed to snap him out of it, because I could hear him release a grunt, before he pulled me much closer to him.
