Chapter 16 You Perve*T

• I opened my heavy eyes only to be greeted by the stinging ray of the rising sun. The curtains were slightly parted so it gave the sun so much access to my heavy face. It felt like I was putting on a metal helmet as I tried to sit up from my bed.
• “What’s going on? Why am I so weak? Where is Ali?” several questions crossed my mind in the span of a minute as I sat there hopelessly and tired.
• The only thing I could remember was taking a drink after the basketball match we had. How I got to my bed was a mystery.
