• The Shadow Within
• Luna stood in the clearing, observing as the tree canopy let the first ray of dawn pass through. Though the air smelled pine and early dew, the tranquility it offered was ephemeral. Though it had been difficult, the triumph against Damian left the pack weak and tired. She could not get rid of the impression that the threat was not quite gone.
• Luna felt unusual discomfort when the pack members convened for a meeting. Though there remained a residual tension suggesting otherwise, the loss of Damian and the damage of the Mirror of Shadows should have provided a feeling of finality.
