• Learning that I wasn't pregnant, I was disappointed. Although Sean didn't say anything, I could see from his expression that he was disappointed too. I could imagine how disappointed Pedro would be when he learned it. I didn't want to disappoint him.
• I wanted to do something to prevent myself from thinking too much, so I sat on the sofa and opened a book. But I couldn't read any words in the book. I felt fidgety. I really needed to talk to someone to distract my attention. Someone who could make me feel happy and not think about it all the time.
