- Jareth’s presence was like a dark cloud descending upon them, suffocating the air with its heaviness. His eyes, glowing with the malice of one who had long ago surrendered to darkness, locked onto Ayaan and Meher. The Heartstone pulsed violently in their chests, as if it, too, could sense the impending storm.
- “You think you can stand against me?” Jareth sneered, his voice smooth like silk, yet edged with venom. “You’re still children playing with forces you can’t even comprehend.”
