Chapter 17 The Valley Of Mirrors
- The world around Meher blurred, the sounds of the valley and the faint rustling of the wind fading away as if they had never existed. She blinked rapidly, trying to ground herself, but it was no use. The air shimmered, and when her eyes adjusted, she saw what lay before her: the Valley of Mirrors.
- She stood alone in the center of the vast expanse, a sea of mirrors stretching endlessly in every direction. Some were tall and wide, others small and cracked, their surfaces gleaming or dull, depending on the angle. Each mirror reflected a version of her—some familiar, others distorted in ways that sent shivers through her spine. The air was heavy with the weight of memories, of choices not yet made, and of paths not yet taken.
- "Meher," a voice echoed from somewhere around her, familiar yet distant. It was Ayaan’s voice, but when she turned to search for him, there was no one.
