Chapter 69 Swift Finds Genevieve

Pearldina was looking pale and exhausted as she walked deeper into the desert that had been Acris home for centuries.
After leaving the hospital, Acris abode was the only place that came to mind. If she was going to hide and be safe, she knew she will be doing so with his help. She hastened her steps despite her tiredness, every second counts and determine her chances of survival.
She got to the desert and expect to see a barrier but there was none. She had a mixed feeling and hastened her steps even more until she got to the spot where she saw an old looking chain lying idle on the ground. "What happened here?" She could feel her heart panic. "Acris!!!" She let out a loud cry. Her saviour was gone, she was sure she would never see him again. "I'll kill you Adonis!!!" She let rage flow though her body as her eyes turned crimson red. "Where do I go from here?" She asked as she kissed the chain that had been her lover's companion over the years and the only thing left of him.
