Chapter 39 Number Thirteen Reward

• Lord Adonis gave out a loud roar and the palace shook once again to it's core. The girls were not spared from the wrath of the rumbling vibrations.
• Back at Lord Adonis chambers, Audrey staggered and fell to the ground sustaining a bruise cut on her fore head, it hurt so badly she was at the point of tears, but she refrained herself from crying since there was no one to cry or whine at. She thought about the recent happenings and shattered. What she was feeling at this moment was similar to what she felt during Desmond's episode. It was at this moment the thoughts of Henrietta, her grandmother flooded her thoughts, Audrey wished her grandmother was right there with her to hold her because she was seriously breaking with no one to hold her.
• As she bore the pain, she slowly returned to her initial standing position wondering if all was well in the palace and why there was consistent rumbling. She was curious about what was going on but knew it was better for her to stay still than to find out.
