- "You don't seem like Lucy today" Mary began, rather reluctantly or adamantly, to complete what I didn't if she was making a sentence or was it just one of those days she wakes up and starts asking rhetorical questions.
- "I don't seem like Lucy today?" I asked, rolling my eyes to commensurate with the fact that she was probably making a sarcasm of me.
