Chapter 77 A Night Outside

• "So what are you up to tonight?" Santos had begun after a minute of an awkward silence that had fallen between the two after a long time because one party couldn't just stop asking irrelevant questions.
• "Nothing really" she had replied nonchalantly, without raising her head from the phone and rather not interested in whatever conversation he was trying to bring up. She was obviously tired of talking. Very tired of talking. She has been talking the whole evening while all he did was to drink and listen to. He was a good listener by the way and that was one of the reasons her endless rant would never be boring to him.
• "Let's go to my apartment?" Santos asked, staring at her. The alcohol that they have been consuming the whole night was now having an effect on the both of them.
