• The auditorium was abuzz with excitement as cameras flashed and attendees took their seats, ready to witness the panel discussion featuring the best authors and publishers in BL. Among them, Irook stood out as a prominent figure. Under the bright stage lights, the panelists sat behind their tabels, facing an eager crowd. Irook sat there, noncalantly swaying his glass of water as he waited for his turn to speak. His disinterest in the proceedings was evident, and his mind was clearly elsewhere. Despite his lack of enthusiasm for the genre, he couldn't deny the fact that a significant portion of his company's profits came from consumers of BL novels.
• Suddenly, a tap on his shoulder brought him back to reality. A microphone was passed to him, and the entire room's attention was now focused on him. He blinked, spanning out of his daydream, and he cleared his throat. A fan clutching her novel tightly in her hands stood up, her voice trembling slightly as she addressed him.
• "I heard Galmae Light Publishing secured a TV series contract with Netflix. Can you tell us when the drama is expected to release?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. The question hung in the air, echoing in the room. Irook blinks momentarily, taken aback. He wasn't expecting to field questions about other companies' contracts. He had enough on his plate without keeping track of other companies' deals.
