Chapter 1 Prologue (1)

  • It's another date with another man. In frustration, Unwoo sighed as he sat in the restaurant waiting for the man across from him to stop talking with his mouth open.
  • There was more to this man than just his food being sloppy. He was arrogant and incompetent sexually. As Unwoo became increasingly irritated with the conversation, he began checking the time on his smart watch.
  • '8:30 PM. Shit...'
  • It had only been thirty minutes, but it had felt like hours. There was nothing better than watching birds fight for breadcrumbs in the street instead of listening and watching the middle aged man talk about his family problems and how he wants to divorce his wife, while spooning a mouthful of bacon cream pasta into his mouth.
  • Seeing the noodles fall out of the man's mouth, and then drop to the plate as he continued to eat, Unwoo was sick to his stomach.
  • Moreover, he was spewing cream sauce everywhere. The two were being watched by other people in the restaurant, Unwoo noticed as he scanned across the room. His body was filled with dread and embarrassment. His only goal was to get out of there as soon as possible.
  • After sending his best friend a destressing text message, Hwiseong left him on read, much to his surprise.
  • 'That fucking bastard always out drinking.....dick head.'
  • He laughed as he yelled, "AHAHAHAHAH CRAZY RIGHT!?".
  • As Unwoo placed his phone back down on the table, he looked up at the old man in confusion.
  • In an irritated tone, he asked, "Are you listening?".
  • Unwoo rolled his eyes as he sipped at his red wine and swirled it in his hands. After placing it gently on the table, he sighed of disappointment, looking straight at his date with his arms folded.
  • "Look. I'm just going to be brutly honest with you. I think you need to work through some of your issues, while also trying to learn some table manners."
  • In shock, the middle-aged man's face turned pale as he could not believe what Unwoo was saying. Suddenly, his face turned red as if he'd been slapped or cursed by his wife.
  • "H, H, How dare you speak like that to me. I'm older than you!"
  • "That isn't an excuse for you to eat your food so sloppy. What are you five?"
  • "You arrogant bitch!"
  • Unwoo was thrown champagne by a middle-aged man. A stick-wet residue slowly dripped down Unwoo's face and neck, slowly creeping down to his favourite white turtleneck as he closed his eyes and sighed with annoyance. Being unable to look at him, let alone be in the same room as him, for the remainder of the day.
  • As Unwoo began to leave, he grabbed his phone and jean jacket. However, as he was about to leave, a man grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
  • "Where do you think your going?" The man's grip tightend.
  • "I'm going home. Get your hands off me." Unwoo's voice started to ring through the resturant.
  • "No. Do you think you can go away that easily, without giving me what I want?"
  • His gaze was like that of someone about to stab the man with a fork.
  • "Let go of me."
  • "No. We had a deal."
  • "That deal is off."
  • His angry eyes stared down at him as he was pulled closer.
  • "Listen you stuck up bitch. This is what is going to happen. We are going to have dinner, then you are going to come up to my room, where I am going to use your body however I please, and you are going to accept it because you're nothing but a slut who is nothing but hungry for the taste of men's cock."
  • Unwoo spat in the guy's face in retaliation. Who was this man thinking he was? That's so rude of him to talk to him like that. Even though Unwoo was nothing more than a university graduate, he had no right to speak like that to him.
  • "Let me tell you how this really is going to go. You are going to let go of me, or by help me god I'm going to call the resturant manager to come and remove you. Then I'm going to go your wife, who is sitting upstairs in another hotel room waiting for you to come back from your 'meeting', and tell her where you were and what you were doing."
  • All hotel guests, sat in awe watching them both in awe as Unwoo's voice echoed through the room. An overwhelming feeling of shame and embarrassment overtook him, and he quickly left the restaurant and the hotel. Putting on his jean jacket, he sat on a small bench outside. In the midst of his pondering, he pulled out a packet of cigarettes from his pocket.
  • 'Some fucking date that was, never again....'
  • When his phone started buzzing in his pocket, he checked it and saw that it was Hwisung, his best friend.
  • 'About time this bastard called.'
  • "Hello?"
  • - Hey Woo, what you doing? How's your date?
  • "It was a fucking shit show...."
  • - Oh shit. Really?
  • "Yeah."
  • - Damn. Okay, well why don't you come over and have a drink with me and my friends?
  • "You're straight friends, that just talk about girls, and how pretty their bodies are? No thanks I think I'll pass."
  • - Oh come on! I promise we'rnt doing that. I'm actually at a company dinner, and my boss said it was okay to invite a friend. He's paying for everything.
  • "Wow, sounds exciting..." Unwoo let out a sarcastic voice.
  • -Woo~~~! Come on!!!
  • "Ha.... fine. I'll come, just let me call a taxi."
  • -Sure, I'll give you the address.
  • When Unwoo received a notification from Hwiseong containing the address, his phone buzzed.
  • - OH! Also make sure you bring some-
  • "Okay bye!"
  • The call was ended as quickly as Unwoo could. A trip to the store to get alcohol for his friend, and for his friend's work colleagues he didn't even know, nor did he care to meet, was the last thing he wanted to do. He was soon on his way to the restaurant when the taxi he reserved pulled up in front of him.
  • ***
  • Upon pulling up, the taxi stopped in front of a restaurant that seemed quite fancy. It was one of Seoul's most expensive Korean BBQ restaurants, so Hwiseong's boss must have been extremely wealthy.
  • Entering the restaurant, he was greeted by the sound of calm, classical music. The people were dressed in formal attire, similar to those at the hotel.
  • Trying to find his friend, he walked around the restaurant. An attractive man in a shirt and tie waved at him soon after. His friend Hwiseong was inviting him over.
  • A little bow was exchanged between Unwoo and the other work colleagues. They all greeted him except for one man who was looking over the dinner menu while slowly sipping red wine at the head of the table.
  • The colour of the man's eyes caught Unwoo's attention rather than the fact that he didn't greet him. Under the light, his eyes appeared violet which oddly matched his pale skin tone. In addition, the man had a sharp chiseled jaw line, and ears that jutted out just a bit.
  • Unwoo always found that to be quite an attractive trait in a man. With neatly tamed eyebrows and a clean kyle-cut hairstyle, along with a tiny bang covering part of his forehead, he looked more refined and polished.
  • The man was wearing a striped shirt, a black tie, and a vest that was neatly fastened and had a pocket watch hanging from it on the upper left.
  • After closing the menu, the man placed his glass on the table and turned towards Unwoo. A small wave accompanied his smile.
  • "Hello, I guess you are Hwiseong's friend, yes?"
  • Unlike most of the men at this table, the man's voice was low and not sharp. Instead, this man spoke softly and with a slight husky tone. However, it was enjoyable to listen to as well.
  • Unwoo nodded, "Yes, I am. I'm Unwoo Tak."
  • "Nice to meet you, I'm Irook Wi."
  • In the face of his odd appearance, and his odd voice, Unwoo could only nod and smile. The lights in the restaurant made his eyes seem like purple sequins, which Unwoo couldn't stop admiring.
  • "Please, have as much as you want. You must be hungry." He said kindly to Unwoo.
  • "Thank you, I haven't had anything all day."
  • In order to make a porkbelly lettuce wrap, Unwoo began by taking out his stainless steel chopsticks and spoon from under the table.
  • He opened his eyes as he tasted the porkbelly and his mouth exploded with sweetness.
  • 'So this is what expensive meat tastes like...'
  • His best friend, patted him on the back, and chuckled loudly.
  • "Mr. Wi, only gives us the best here."
  • Mr. Wi, nodded while Unwoo, gave him a thumbs up as if to signal him that it was great. Unwoo and Mr. Wi discussed a few things before Mr. Wi leaned forward and placed his elbows on the table.
  • "So, Unwoo what do you do for a living?"
  • As he answered Mr. Wi's question, he kept his hand over his mouth while he still had porkbelly in his mouth.
  • "I majored in journalism, and with a minor in film production."
  • "Oh how intersting, is journalism a field you are looking to go down?" Mr. Wi, added as he nodded his head slightly, showing that he was listeing intentivly.
  • "Yes, I do. However, my real passion lies in writing novels, I want be a writer."
  • "I see, that's interesting because we are a publishing company also."
  • "Really?"
  • "Yes, I am the CEO of Galmae Light Publishing ."
  • In response, Unwoo's eyes grew larger. In Korea Galmae Light Publishing was one of the most popular book publishing companies. Authors who had debuted by Galmae Light Publish had seen their books become populr on an international scale! Not to mention, his favourite author of all time, was under that publishing company.
  • "Uh!" His friend cried.
  • "Why didn't you tell me you worked for Galmae Light Publishing?!?"
  • "Wasn't it obvious? How do you think I am able to give you all those manuscripts from your favourite author, before they are published?"
  • "Oh..." Unwoo, turned his attention back to Mr. Wi. "I'm such a big fan of your company sir."
  • Irook, chuckled in response, and his face turned redder, and not from the alchohol.
  • "We're just a tiny publishing company. But thank you for your compliment."
  • In truth, Unwoo knew that Wi was being overly modest, as Galmae Light Publishing was far from. In hopes that it would become a stepping stone, he wanted to work at the company in order to be like his idol, Park Gyutaek, a famous BL webnovel author. In the winter of last year, just after he graduated, he applied, but he didn't make it past the document screening.
  • Once again, he failed to pass the document screening this winter. At first, he wanted to let Mr. Wi know that he applied, hoping he would be offered a job there and then, but he recognized that wouldn't have been appropriate.
  • "Hwiseong, told me you applied to us, a few times and failed to pass the document screening." As Mr. Wi ate a lettuce wrap with pork belly, he informed him.
  • As Unwoo felt slightly embarrassed, he nodded slightly
  • "Why don't you stop by tomorrow, and I will look over your documents. Do you have a CV ready to hand me?"
  • "Yes...but not right now. I can print one and have it ready by tomorrow.
  • Mr. Wi, took a sip of his wine. " Wonderful, than come by the company at around 1:00PM. I'll meet with you then."
  • While emotions continued to flood Unwoo's overstimulated mind, Unwoo bowed in gratitude. A magazine company that was among the best in the country was like a dream come true for him.
  • "Oooh! Our boss is young, and cool." Her face flushed from alcohol as she held her wine glass.
  • Once again, Unwoo turned to face Mr. Wi, who smiled at him, and he smiled back. In Unwoo's ear, Hwiseong whispered.
  • "He's only Thirty-one years old."
  • "What?!" Unwoo, whispered while taking a sip of wine.
  • Hwiseong winked at him. "He's also single, and ready to mingle."
  • As his friend insinuated, Unwoo choked on the wine.
  • "Shut the fuck up, he might be my future boss. I'm not going to fuck my boss seong!"
  • "Why not? That way you might get promotated, as they say you gotta bang your way to the top." Hwiseong, added with a cheeky chuckle.
  • It was obvious that Hwiseong was drunker than drunk. These crude things would not be said lightly by him. Hwiseong did have a point, in a weird way it would be kinda hot to sleep with his future boss, considering he is very clean, well dressed, and good looking.
  • There was no doubt that he was ticking all of Unwoo's boxes. He continued to stare at his future boss while taking another sip of wine.
  • 'I wonder what he is packing under that suit.'
  • Taking a slow bite out of his lip at the thought of sharing a bed with his boss, he also daydreamed about all the things he wanted to do to him.
  • His dream was to get fucked by him in the office after all the workers had left. Just the two of them in that big company, sitting on top of him and riding him while he sat in a comfortable office chair. The smell of sweat and cum filling the office.
  • Suddely there was a tap from his friend.
  • "Unwoo!"
  • "What?!" Unwoo, snapped out of his day dream.
  • "My boss asked you a question."
  • "Sorry, I seem to have drunken a little too much wine." Unwoo laughed nervously.
  • Mr. Wi, chucked and shook his head, signiling to him that it was okay.
  • "I was just wanted to ask if you'd like to come with us to another bar we plan on heading over too, in about ten minutes?"
  • Unwoo, nodded as he leaned slightly on to Hwiseong in a intoxicated state, giving a thumbs up. "That is fine by me.....huk!"
