Chapter 7 Not Him

• Eva’s POV
• “Fine!” he said and threw the plane ticket in the trash can.
• I feel I did something wrong to make him feel angry.
• I closed my lunch book and went outside to check the weather, I have a meeting with Anna today about my new schedule. Then I grabbed my purse while running outside but a few bodyguards blocked my way.
• “Ms. Eva, you can’t go anyhwere without the master’s permission.”
• I sighed as I go back inside and looked for Jacob, I feel so chilly right now looking for him because I know that he is frustrated with the way I act.
• I peek at his room and there he is laying in his bed with open arms.
• I touched his shoulder and he open his eyes, he grabbed my arm and now I’m shocked that I’m already on top of him.
• “What are you doing?”
• “I just remembered what happened the other day about us…”
• Then his hand is traveling to my thighs and I began to feel the hotness in my body, “J-Jacob…I have to go somewhere, and I need to see my friend, Anna, your bodyguard told me that I need permission from you…”
• He sighed and stared at me with wide eyes, “Give me what I want, and I’ll give you what I want!”
• “Are you serious?”
• As I’m about to take off my dress with my shaking hand, the door suddenly opened and I immediately put on my dress again and get up.
• The old woman went inside and ask, “I see that you’re already married to this woman!”
• “Grandma, what are you doing here?!” Jacob said and lead his grandma outside leaving me alone in his room.
• I just wish that I was swallowed by the earth because of my embarrassment.
• "Eva, come here…" Returning to his room, Jacob held my hand while introducing me to his grandmother.
• "Eva, here is my grandmother,"
• His granda stares at me from head to toe.
• I said, "Hello," while waving at her.
• "You married a young lady, huh?" The grandmother became enraged and began to glare at me.
• "Grandmother, that is my wife! not only a young lady!"
• "This is unacceptable!" The grandmother exited, and I could hear her heels click-clacking while walking outside.
• I bit my bottom lip and uttered, "I'm sorry..." in response to Jacob's irritated glare. and he shook his head, "No, I should apologize to you!"
• “You need to pack all your things, we are going somewhere…far away from here,” he said.
• I blink twice at him, I feel like he is just joking but he is really so serious. “Why?”
• “You are my wife now, and you need to live in a house without disturbance, I know that my grandma will hate you for being my wife, she always hates the woman I bring into this villa, so pack your things and we are going to our new house.”
• When I recall something, I nod my head and pack all of my belongings; why should I trust Jacob so much? I married him despite not liking him very much in order to escape my hellish life with my mother's family.
• Then I need to move with him to a house thats only me and him live. It's not the same here, I live with the maids and guards and a lot of people.
• I put all my things outside and Jacob’s grandmother sees me, “What are you doing? you are going somewhere?! I bet my grandson already get rid of you!” she laughs at me.
• I tried not to talk to her, I feel intimidated but she still follows me downstairs.
• “You, you need to die!” she said angrily and pushed me downstairs which lead me to roll over and my head hit the stairs.
• “Grandma!!!” I heard Jacob yell at his grandma.
• I don’t know why his grandma acted like a crazy person, but I feel so strange about her.
• Jacob carried me and ask the guard to call for an ambulance then I told him, “It’s okay…”
• “No, it’s not okay!”
• The nurse came and apologized to Jacob, “I’m sorry sir, your grandma did not take her medicine today! I will deal with her right now!”
• “Next time do your job better!”
• “Yes, sir, I’m really sorry!”
• Jacob takes me to the hospital and his friend's Doctor treated the wound on my forehead, “I guess, she’s fine.”
• “Thank you, doc!” I smile at the young doctor and she winked at me and left the room.
• Jacob rubbed his face and my mom came to the front door, “Mom?”
• "Baby… I'm sorry about what happened to you! you can go with me now, just leave this man! he is not the right man for you, look at what happened to you!" My mom retorted and cupped my face, "I'm sorry if I did not protect you from them, but my husband promised me that he will not do that again to you…please you need to be with me, I'm your mother, and you are my daughter!"
• Jacob is expressionless while staring at my mom and waiting for my response.
• "Mom…I don't know anymore…."
• "Honey, I'm your mother and I know what's best for you, so let's go?"
• The doctor came in and was confused about what happened because I was crying and too emotionally.
• "If you want to go with your mom, say it now, and don't make it too hard for me to understand!" Jacob said, and I wiped away my tears, "I don't know…."
• "Just for tonight, be with me, Eva…I miss bonding with you…." My mom tried to persuade me. My heart became soft while she was hugging me. After all, she's always the mother I've longed for—for a long time.
• "Okay mom…" I said while nodding my head.
• "Really? you are going with her after all this time?"
• "She's still my mom!"
• "Then go with her…." Jacob said, and my mom escorted me as we walked outside. Armando's men are waiting outside.
• "Thank you, Eva…I am sure you won't regret this!"
