Chapter 5 Tonight

• Eva’s POV
• The car possesses bulletproof glass, which is a significant benefit. So we are fine inside the vehicle; this is my first time encountering a situation like this. This is deadly for me. Jacob's men arrived to guard us while he gripped my hand and drove the car as quickly as he could.
• "Are you alright?"
• "Why they are trying to kill us? I don't understand!"
• He smiled at me and said, "You don't know? It's Armando's men! they are trying to kill us!"
• "Why?"
• "Because he finally gained his power again! so that's why he wants you back!" he said and pulled over, he left the car in the woods, and we transferred to another vehicle that stopped in the middle of the road.
• I am biting my finger nails while looking at the road and I can’t even speak at this moment, so Armando wanted to kill Jacob. What if Jacob will die? what will happen to me?
• “You will not go to school tomorrow, you will be home school.” he said while staring at my face.
• “O-okay…”
• "And I'd like to hire a psychiatrist for you because you may be traumatized by what happened... your behavior does not reflect—
• I stop him from saying something that is not even true: "I'm good, I'm acting normally despite the situation; do you think I'd be pleased if someone attacked us? I don’t know what to act anymore! It is normal to be freaked out!”
• He hold my hand and put to his face, “I’m not going to give you to him, so you’re going to marry me tonight.”
• Yes, I'm in a dangerous situation. My mouth fell open, and I couldn't stop crying; I didn't know if I was going to be stressed or happy with this kind of roller coaster situation in my life.

• "James, does the priest already attend the specified location?" he asks his driver.

• "Good!" Jacob folds his arms and closes his eyes with composure; how can he appear so calm tonight? Armando's men attacked us, and there he sits, calmly closing his eyes and flashing an evil grin.
• I brushed away my tears and looked around, but I couldn't see much since the road was too dark, and I also wanted to sleep. I close my eyes as I grab his coat and place it on my arms. Then he opened his eyes and looked at me; I was surprised when he placed my head on his chest and said, "Sleep..."

• When I opened my eyes, I’m already on the bed and still wearing the red gown, I check my wristwatch and its almost 12 am.
• Then I looked at myself at the mirror and sighed. I opened the door, I saw him. our gaze meet and he approach me, “Since you’re awake, we can get married now!”
• “Huh?”
• The priest came and he has a sleepy face, I wanted to laugh in this very serious situation but I just controlled myself at this moment.
• Jacob hold my hand and call his men to deliver the ring and put on the table.
• My eyes went wide, I already have the engagement ring tonight and a wedding at the same moment.
• “Eva Marie Feathers, do you take this man as your lawfully wedded husband?” The priest asks while gaping at me.
• I wanted to say nothing, but seeing Jacob’s face made my heart jump because of my emotion. Do I have to marry this man tonight just to save my ass from Sullier Family?
• “I…I do.”
• “Jacob Anderson, do you this woman as your lawfully wedded wife?”
• “I do!”
• “You are now husband and wife! you may kiss the bride!”
• I bit my lower lip as I stared at him and kissed him in front of his men and the priest. This makes me feel embarrassed.
• I closed my eyes, and he held me closer to him and kissed me passionately.
• After that, the priest made me sign the marriage contract, and Jacob signed it too.
• And that’s it! I’m married! And it is a rush marriage, I don’t know if this really happened in real life, but it really happened to me!
• The front door opened and Leo came with his father. I gasped and I hide behind’s Jacib while closing my eyes and smelling Jacob’s scent. He smell so good!
• “So I see that you already married that woman!” Leo said angrily.
• “You don’t even ask for our permission! she is still the daughter of my wife!” Armando snarled.
• “Oh, pardon me for not inviting you guys…she’s my wife now and no oen can tear us apart!” Jacob said and ask his men to pointed a gun to them.
• “This is not the contract, Jacob! you sign the contract that if I have enough money to take her back with me, you will give her to us! and then you marry her for what?!” Armando said angrilly and take a step closer.
• "Can't you see, she finally said yes because she doesn't want to return with you; she's now mine!"
• “You violate her right, Eva! step forwrad if this man forced you to marry him!” Leo said and I tried to face them.
• “No, I think this is the only way to stay away from your family, I don’t wnat to go back living with your family. because your father tried to rape me!” I said while crying.
• Leo glance at his father and Armando sighed, “Yes, because I want you to be my mistress and give you everything! If you came back to us, we will give you all the luxuries in the world and also you can be with your mom!”
• "I do not need a mother who simply thinks about herself... just leave me alone!" I screamed at them.
• Leo pointed his rifle toward Jacob, and when I look at Jacob, his gun is also aimed at Leo.
• "If I meet you before he does, you will become my wife as quickly as possible!"
• Jacob smiled, “Then you’re just unfortunate! get out of here!”
