Chapter 36 Second Book: Triumph Of Love

• Prologue:
• Mercedes' world seems to come to a halt when she sees Frederick on television, as she watches him run and claim the basketball ring. She even cheers happily when Frederick's team wins, and as a result, Mercedes is already following Frederick on social media. She is a fan, and she thinks that Frederick's appearance makes her believe that this guy could be her dream guy.
• Mercedes grew up in a middle-class family, and she may not get whatever she wants in life but with the help of her supportive and hardworking parents, she can be happy and contented, in contrast to Frederick's wealthy family, who, despite being the wealthiest in town and providing him with the best education and all, still lacks his parents' love and support. His father wants him to be a doctor, but he doesn't want to, so he pursues his dreams of becoming a professional basketball player without his father's encouragement. His father, as well as his mother, are devastated by his decision in life.
