• Prince Lucian lounged arrogantly on the edge of the marble balcony, the gold filigree of his royal jacket gleaming under the soft glow of candlelight. His emerald eyes shone with mischief, sharp and calculating as they landed on Gideon, his silent, loyal bodyguard, standing rigid just a few steps away, muscles tense beneath his crisp black uniform.
