• "I can’t keep staying here," I grumbled as I got out of bed, feeling completely drained. I knew I needed rest but I couldn’t continue to lie in bed all day. I was losing my mind with all the thoughts in my head and a distraction was needed.
• I had no idea what time it was, but I knew I had spent two days in bed after Landon’s last visit. The fact he had not come again to check up on me was so painful. Was I really going to succeed in breaking my own relationship with my own hands? Had I really succeeded in pushing him away?
