• I looked around to find that several pairs of eyes were on me; including both Alex and Krimson’s. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I turned back towards Alex and took his hand in mine. “Let’s go back to our rooms, okay? I’m not hungry anymore.”
• Alex nodded curtly, his jaw still clenched so hard I was afraid he was going to break his teeth. So I gave him a little push. He didn’t react immediately, but then slowly, I felt him move backwards a little bit.
