• “I wish you would, you bastard!' I almost spat that at him, but I couldn't. I had to behave. The clever, hopeful, scheming part of me still saw escape as an option. Over the course of the last few weeks, I'd tried several times, and each time he'd caught me, I'd lost what few 'privileges' I still had. I'd been reduced to…being tied up naked whenever he went out. It was humiliating. There were so many things I could hardly even acknowledge, even to myself.
