• Sharon’s POV
• We feel bad that we are leaving Alexa to draw in her sorrows without any one to hold her together, but we have to go. We are already at least two hours late for the meeting. We have even started doubting our chances, but we are dealing with the loss of a family member here. I think the board people will understand.
• My brother and I entered the car. I take the driver’s seat and drive away. In less than fifteen minutes, we were at the meeting place. Not that it is close, but I drive very fast, so that I can reach it soon.
