• Alexa’s POV
• “I'm heading for a fan meeting and so far we have twenty plus minutes to arrive there. So I'm pretty much going straight to the point and not going into any details.” He pauses, feeding in suspense into my mind. My gaze steadies at him, I wait for him to make his next statement. I'm eager to know what it is they are hiding from me.
• “I'm scaring you away, asking you to keep your distance to be safe from our former mate.” He says matter-of-factly. I reflash my mind back to the history of them. There's nothing to even look at online even from their pack here, worst of all would be trying to retrieve information from them from a foreign pack. My next thought goes to Maurin, the receptionist whom he sacked.
