Chapter 142

• I found my way to the ground floor and sniffed the air trying to catch traces of his scent that would lead me to him.
• It was easy as his scent was stronger at the base of the step, I followed it going in the direction of anywhere I could smell him stronger and soon I heard voices coming from a room.
• I braced myself up and tiptoed to what I guessed was the drawing room. It was where the voices sounded from and the lights in the room were on.
