Chapter 8
- It had been a few days since the day of the feast, and Tallula had done all it took to stay away from both brothers. However, it was almost impossible because she was married to one, and the other one lived under the same roof as she. How would she avoid them when she kept running into both of them, especially Zayne, wherever she went? You would think a building is big until you try to avoid someone.
- Tallula sat at the dining table with Zayne right across her. A million thoughts ran through her mind but she tried to ignore them, putting her food into her mouth. “The sooner I'm done and I leave, the better for me,” Tallula thought as she placed another bit of meat into her mouth.
- The dining table has been awkward, with Zayne and Oscar glaring hard at each other. You could feel the tension between them both and Tallula did not want to be in the middle of it all. Zayne watched Tallula as she kept eating, a frown on his face.
