• Everyone's attention turned towards the east. They saw Ariel, flanked by two females, being dragged forward despite her resistance.
• “Let go of me. Do you know who I am?” Ariel yelled as she fought to extricate herself from Emma and the other girl's hold. “I said, let go of me this instant. Do you want to die? I'm the future Luna of this pack! Let go!”
• “Shut it, you bitch!” Aylani spat, kicking her back from behind. Ariel's knees arched forward as she shrieked. Aylani hadn't been merciful with that kick at all.
