Chapter 4 The Traitor

• *CASTLE~MILO’S SUITE*
• A nak*d girl lay beside Milo who was smoking Crazily.
• They just finished rounds of s*x,everyone knows Milo to be a s*x freak,no cause for alarm on that and even after getting his own mate who he considered not up to his taste,he rejected her. He went through the pain for a while and his mate was forced to leave the star pack,and now everyone's greatly expecting the next mate the moon goddess will grant a fornicator like him
• Even at that,no girl dare to reject his offer,never. He will always have them no matter what,aside from the fact that he's a prince,he's too handsome and perfect to ignore.
• Girls loose their sense anytime they see him,the ones with mates aren't left out sometimes,his naked chest can drive any girl insane,Prince Milo is a sexy god on his own,no doubt on that.
• "My prince" The girl beside him suddernly called
• "What is that?" Milo asked
• "What if I am your mate?" She asked and Milo shot her a glare
• "What will I be doing with an empty trash then?" Milo asked and the girl swallowed
• "Do you want a virgin as your mate?" She asked
• "Don't be dumb,anyone would wish for that,not someone like you" Milo smirked and the girl bite her lips
• “I'm almost getting to your suite,chase out that slut,we need to talk” Dane mind linked Milo
• "Leave" Milo immediately said to the girl
• "But my prince,we aren't done..."
• "Done with you,leave" Milo get off the bed
• The girl quickly dressed up and walked out of the suite
• By the time Milo finished dressing up also,Dane was already in the living room
• "Brother?" He called
• "Coming out" Milo replied and appeared in the living room
• "Didn't see you all day" Dane smiled before sitting down
• "What's the smile about?" Milo asked,also sitting down
• "Heard you visited our brother this night" Dane said
• "Just briefly" Milo replied
• "Did he get hurt or something?? Heard they finished off the rogues,that was unexpected,they are more than the first" Dane said
• "No,he's perfectly okay as expected. And he might start getting some weird feelings soon...."
• "That's what I want...."
• "No,that's enough for now. You should be smart Dane" Milo said and Dane scoffed
• "You won't believe that kid told me to my face that he wasn't happy to see me" Milo said with an evil grin on his face
• "Are you really going to keep quiet? You should inform mother,he's biting more than he can chew already" Dane said angrily
• "You should know how to keep calm" Milo said
• "That's the difference between us brother,I don't know how to control my anger and you know that,I'm also an Alpha prince and that position should be yours not his" Dane snapped
• "Are you going to listen to me or not?" Milo asked and Dane kept quiet
• "Don't do anything crazy for now,you know how smart that kid is..."
• "Exactly why I hate him" Dane said and Milo nodded
• "Stay low" He muttered
• "I will listen to you, but he better not say sh*ts to me" Dane scoffed and Milo chuckled.
• The two brothers sat in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts. Milo was plotting, his mind racing with schemes and plots. He wanted nothing more than to see the alpha suffer, to make him pay for taking what was his. But he knew he had to be patient, had to bide his time. The alpha was smart, and he knew that if he made one wrong move, it could all come crashing down.
• Dane, on the other hand, was seething with anger. He had never been able to control his emotions like Milo could, and it often got him into trouble.
• **
• *NEXT DAY~ALPHA'S TRAINING GROUND*
• The sound of swords splashing against each other filled the air,Alpha Orion and Xander are both on against each other as usual,that's how they train some mornings. They go against each others too some times in their wolf form.
• They've been doing that since they were kids and its always fun.
• The training ground was filled with some warriors and guards watching and securing.
• For some months,the Star Pack have been fighting against different packs of rogues,even with the large city gate,no one knows how the rogues always manage to get into the pack and it's really disturbing even though they have the best warriors who are always ready for war.
• The sword fight still continues
• Xander got the upper hand this time around and the sword in Orion’s hand dropped
• Orion looked up at Xander, his eyes flashing with determination.
• "Not bad," he said, his voice full of grudging respect.
• "But I'm not done yet." Xander grinned, his teeth flashing white in the sunlight.
• "You can keep trying," he said. "But I'll still win."
• With that, he attacked again, his sword moving in a blur of motion. Orion met his blows, his own sword moving just as fast. The two were evenly matched, their skill and strength almost equal. But after a few minutes, Orion began to tire, his movements slowing ever so slightly.
• On a normal day,if the alpha was fighting against anyone and the person get the upper hand,he might end up dying coz the warriors wouldn't hesitate to behead him on the spot with the deal of protecting their alpha from the attacker no matter who he is,but now it's a different case,as long as it's the Beta,they can't do anything unless the alpha commands which might never come true for life.
• Xander saw the opening and seized his chance, knocking Orion's sword from his hand and pinning him to the ground. "I win," he said, his voice triumphant.
• Alpha Oroin looked at his sword on the ground and then Xander,Xander immediately dropped his sword too
• "I'm sorry" He said in respect
• Orion chuckled
• "It's fine,we both know you're better than me when It comes to sword fighting" He tapped Xander’s shoulder
• "That will be the end for today" Alpha Orion said and everyone bowed
• "Good job Alpha!!" The warriors chorused
• Orion turned to Xander
• "You did well too, Xander," he said, a proud smile on his face.
• "You have become a fine warrior, and I'm proud to call you my friend." Xander felt his chest swell with pride at the Alpha's words. He had worked hard to become a skilled fighter, and it felt good to be recognized for his efforts.
• "Thank you, Alpha," he said, his voice full of gratitude. "I will continue to train hard, and I promise to never let you down." Orion nodded, his eyes shining with approval.
• "To my office" He said and Xander immediately followed him as they walked side by side,talking as they leave,everyone's head still bowed
• Willow and Blue followed behind them too,Willow is the alpha's special guard while Blue is Xander’s special guard,they are also close friends.
• Moreover,they are the two strongest and bravest guard.
• Alpha Orion and Xander entered the office while the two guards stayed outside along with the other guards guarding the office before.
• Orion and Xander sat down, and the Alpha began going over some paperwork. Xander watched him in silence, content to simply be in the Alpha's presence. He felt safe and protected here, and he knew that if anything ever happened to him, Orion would be there to help him.
• Xander was staring at Orion’s worried face ,His hair grew longer in the past few days only showing that he's worried about something.
• "Are you okay?" Xander broke the silence
• "Did you find out what I asked you to?" Orion asked
• "About the city gate??" Xander asked and Orion nodded.
• Few days back,he had requested to know if there's another way or route to coming into the city aside the gate,unfortunately no other route
• "I met with the builders and they insisted that the city gate is the only way to the city" Xander replied and Orion looked up
• "Then...."
• "It might not be what you're thinking" Xander said and Orion raised his brows
• “what do you mean??” He mind linked Xander
• “I honestly think those rogues use some dark powers” Xander replied
• “you don't want to believe we have a traitor here?” Alpha Orion asked and Xander sighed
• "I don't know,I just think we should get the matter straight first before suspecting anyone" Xander spoke out
• Alpha Orion nodded
• "Then,give Ashley a call" He said
• Ashley is a witch,a powerful one at that and she's close to them both
• "Who knows where that pretty witch is any way" Xander said and Oroin chuckled
• "Don't tell me you still have a crush on her" He said
• "I do not!" Xander said, his cheeks turning pink.
• "She's a friend, that's all. We've known each other for years, and she's always been there for us." Orion raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on his lips.
• "You're sure there's nothing more to it?" he asked, his tone light and playful.
• "Absolutely sure!" Xander said, trying to sound indignant, but the laughter in his eyes betrayed him. "We're just friends, and that's all we'll ever be."
• "If you say so," Orion said, smirking.
• "That was back then,I don't like her anymore" Xander said
• "I will believe you" Alpha Orion said and Xander scoffed
• “stop talking about another person's love life and let's look for a way to get our mate!”Asher yelled at Orion
• Orion groaned loudly and immediately shut him up
• "Asher again?" Xander asked
• "You got me" Alpha Orion said
• Xander shook his head, a bemused smile on his face.
• "Asher never fails to crack me up," he said.
• "I don't know how you deal with him day in and day out." Orion sighed, a look of fond exasperation on his face.
• "He's like a hyperactive little brother," he said.
• "Sometimes I feel like I'm the parent and he's the child." Xander laughed.
• "I can see that," he said. "But despite his antics, he's a good friend. And a valuable asset to the pack."
• "That he is," Orion agreed
• "It's been long since he have a run with kian" Xander smiled
• Kian is Xander’s wolf
• "Let's find some time to do that after we talk to Ashley" Alpha Oroin said and Xander nodded
• "I should get it done immediately" He stood up and walked out of the office
• Alpha Orion started checking out some reports on his desk,countless ones.
• It was a lot of work, but Orion was used to it. As the Alpha of the Star Pack, he had a lot of responsibilities, and he took them all seriously. He wanted to make sure his pack was safe, and that they had everything they needed. It was a lot of pressure, but he knew it was worth it.
