Chapter 4 Alpha's Mate

• “Get our mate back to the castle! Now!”Asher growled back.
• Orion forcefully took control and shifted which took him a whole lot of power coz Asher was at it peak already.
• Xander raised his head
• "Are you okay?" He asked but Orion’s eyes was focused on Adella who was still on the ground
• She finally got her consciousness and started coughing as she raised her head,her long hair covered half of her face
• Xander also turned and he was surprised to see Adella
• "It's...her" He mumbled
• “Mate.....Ella....it's our mate!!” Marie waggled joyfully and Adella was dumbfounded
• “What are you talking about?” she asked,not getting it
• “I can smell him Ella,I can feel him!! We found our mate!!” Marie repeated
• Adella eyes met with Orion’s cold face,he was also looking at her
• Orion stared at Adella, his gaze intense and unwavering. For a moment, it was as if time stood still, and the only two people in the world were him and her. He felt something stirring inside him, a feeling he couldn't quite explain.
• “Marietta.....it's....it's....the...alpha” She trembled as she said that
• “We are mated to an Alpha!! That's it!!”Marie screamed and Adella swallowed
• Orion’s eyes were still on her and she was getting uncomfortable,her mate is not supposed to meet her in such a disgraceful way,she look so horrible!!
• "Alpha...." Xander called again calmly and Orion looked away from Adella after staring at her for minutes with no single expression on his face to read.
• "Do you know her?" Orion asked and Asher growled angrily in his head but he ignored him
• "Yes,she's the Omega who was brought to the castle today. I guess she's trying to escape" Xander said,looking at Adella who immediately looked down embarrassingly
• “What do you think you're doing?? You're hurting our mate!” Asher snapped at Orion
• “She's not my mate!!” Orion yelled back at him
• “What do you mean?? I can feel it....”
• “Feel whatever you want,that Omega is not going to be my mate” Orion said and Asher went quiet
• Orion turned to Xander,not sparing Adella a glance
• "Get the horse" He said
• "Here Alpha"
• Willow and Blue just came with Orion and Xander’s horses
• They got down from the horse
• "But....what about her?" Xander asked as Orion was about walking to the horse
• Orion kept quiet for a while before speaking up
• "The castle" he muttered and got on the horse
• Xander looked at Blue
• "I will bring her with me" Willow immediately said and Xander nodded before he also got on his horse
• Adella watched as Orion and Xander rode off along with other guards leaving just Willow and Blue
• “Mate....hates us” Marie said sadly
• “No,the problem is me. He hates me....not you” Adella said
• "Get up" Blue called her attention
• "Be gentle dude" Willow snapped at Blue and Adella looked at him,she recognized him,he was the same guard who helped her back in the dungeon
• "Hey,what's your name?" He asked calmly
• "Adella" Adella muttered
• Willow smiled and offered her his hand
• "Let's go" he said
• Adella placed her hand on his own gently and he pulled her up,he helped her on the horse and he climbed on it to,sitting behind her
• Willow gently tapped the horse's flank with his heels, and it started moving forward at a slow walk. He kept a hand on Adella's waist to steady her, but he made sure not to touch her too much. The last thing he wanted was to make her uncomfortable.
• As they rode, he looked around at the lush forest surrounding them. The trees were tall and thick, their leaves rustling in the breeze. The sunlight filtered through the branches, creating a dappled pattern on the ground below. It was beautiful, and yet there was something unsettling about it.
• Willow looked at Blue who was already on the horse also and the two sped up.
• Adella on the other hand was lost in thought.
• When is she returning to the castle to face at this moment? She doesn't know.
• Adella's thoughts continued to swirl. She tried to focus on the sounds and smells around her, but her mind kept drifting back to the moment she first saw Orion.
• She couldn't shake the feeling that something had happened between them, something that was more than just a simple meeting.

• "You look disturbed" Xander said to Orion
• They are both going slowly now,enjoying the night breeze as the horse walk slowly.
• "Do I?" Alpha Orion asked
• "Yes,is there something you want to tell me?" Xander asked
• "Is it necessary to have a mate?" Alpha Orion asked and Xander raised his brows
• "You know it is,and even if it's not necessary for everyone,you're the Alpha and you must have one,you know that" Xander replied
• Orion scoffed
• "Is something wrong?" Xander questioned
• Orion ignored his question and sped off,leaving him behind.
• Xander sighed out and immediately followed him in the same pace.
• Xander raced after Orion, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew something was wrong, but he didn't know what it was. He didn't want to push the Alpha too far, but he needed to know what was going on.
• As he drew closer to Orion, he saw the Alpha's fists clenched tightly on the reins. His eyes were fixed straight ahead, his jaw set in a hard line. It was clear that something was bothering him, but Xander didn't know what it was.

• Castle*
• Willow’s horse stopped as they entered the castle,He jumped down from the horse and looked at Adella
• "Come on" He said,offering her his hand
• "Thank you" Adella said softly and held his hand,he grabbed her hand and held her waist as he carried her down.
• Adella looked around,she finally got the chance to see what the castle really looks like,it's magnificent
• Ashley was walking when suddenly she saw Adella and she frowned
• "What's going on?" She walked,moving closer to them
• Adella quickly bowed her head
• "Why is she here?" Ashley asked Willow,ignoring Adella
• "The alpha want her to be brought back here" Willow replied and Ashley’s eyes widened
• "The Alpha saw her?" She asked and Willow nodded
• "The Alpha saw her?" Ashley asked, her voice tinged with disbelief. "Why? And why is she here?"
• "I don't know," Willow said, her voice full of confusion.
• "I'm just following orders. I don't know anything else." Ashley's eyes narrowed.
• "Well, I'm not sure I believe that," she said.
• "You've always been the one who knows everything that's going on. You're the Alpha's right hand man. There's no way you don't know what's going on." Willow sighed. "You're right, I do know a lot but I don’t know anything about this one
• Ashley looked at Adella again before storming away making Adella wonder what's wrong.
• "Follow me,I will take you to a room where you can pass the night" Willow said and Adella immediately followed him
• She was crazily hungry but who is she to ask for food at this moment??.
• She thought about Orion again and sighed,what is she expecting? How can she be mated to an Alpha? Not just an alpha
• Alpha Orion !! The dominion Alpha of all pack!!
• Adella's mind was racing as she followed Willow down the long corridors of the castle.
• She couldn't believe that she was now in the home of the Alpha, the most powerful werewolf in the world. She had never even imagined that she would one day be in such a place. And yet, here she was.
• She tried to keep her thoughts from drifting to Orion, but it was no use. He was all she could think about. His face, his voice, his touch...it was all burned into her memory. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of emotions, and she didn't know how to escape.
