Chapter 170

• When we heard the door clicking open, I finally saw Sebastian escorted by a jail guard and as soon as his eyes met mine, he looked away from us. He wore that worn out looking grey prison uniform with his hands in a handcuff. He was now sporting a scruffy beard and his long black hair tied in a bun on top of his head with an escaping tendril of his hair over his cheek. This huge clear glass separated us from Sebastian even though we were in one room and as soon as he sat down on the chair, he kept his eyes to the corner of the room. He was clearly avoiding me and Ben and he looked uninterested in talking to us too.
• I breathe in heavily after the jail guard told us that we only have limited time to talk to him.
