  • The morning came too soon, the aches in my muscles a cruel reminder of the previous night. Despite the exhaustion clinging to my limbs, I made my way to the training grounds where the others had already gathered. The crisp morning air carried the murmurs of conversation, low voices discussing the aftermath of the attack.
  • Cassian stood at the center, arms crossed, his usual easy grin replaced by something more serious. "Before we start, we need to talk about what happened last night," he said, his gaze sweeping over us. "The rogues didn’t just appear out of nowhere. There were failures, miscalculations. And if we don’t figure them out, it’ll happen again."
  • A few murmurs of agreement passed through the gathered warriors.
