Chapter 118
- Freya’s POV
- The path ahead shimmered like a dream on the edge of vanishing. Behind us, the world of illusions unraveled, leaving in its wake aching hearts and broken truths. But now, with Reyna and Hera slowly regaining strength, it felt as if the end was near. Their presence beside their mates seemed to infuse them with a healing warmth, and the longer they remained close, the stronger they became. Dorian held Reyna gently, their connection grounding her more each moment. Tiberius walked near Hera, silent but protective, and I walked between them, our hearts beating in hesitant unison.
- We were no longer just survivors. We were pieces of something fractured trying to heal. And the way forward—we no longer needed maps or magic. We let our hearts guide us, our pain and hope weaving into a current stronger than any spell.
