Chapter 34 Nowhere To Run
- The man in Amara’s arms let out a weak groan, his head lolling to the side. Blood seeped through his jacket, staining her hands.
- “Damn it,” Damian muttered, lowering him carefully onto the bed. “We need to stop the bleeding.”
- Amara grabbed a towel from the bathroom, pressing it against the wound. “Stay with me,” she said, her voice firm. “Who did this to you?”
