Chapter 58

• I woke up early, around 7 AM, and took extra care getting ready. I showered, dried my hair, and actually put on some makeup something I rarely did. I chose a simple cream-colored dress that was modest but flattering, paired with sandals.
• When I finally worked up the courage to leave my room around 8:30 AM, I found Greg already in the kitchen, dressed casually in dark jeans and a white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He looked good annoyingly good.
• He turned when he heard me enter, and I saw his eyes widen slightly before he composed himself.
