• “I-I heard it from... I don’t know!” Reina shouted, her voice trembling as she struggled beneath Xavier, the weight of his presence pinning her down. Desperation flickered in her gaze, searching for a glimmer of understanding amid the chaos. Frustration boiled over in Xavier at her answer, his voice low and dangerous as he growled.
• “Why would you claim to be my wife?!” His fist punched the pillow just inches from Reina’s head in a fit of rage. The air crackled with tension as Reina’s eyes widened in shock. A gasp escaped her lips as tears pooled in her bright gaze, the hurt, fear, and confusion evident in her expression.
• “I'm sorry! I’m not your wife. Please, don’t hurt me…” Reina whispered, her voice and body trembling with fear as tears streamed down her temples, glistening in the dim light.
