- Mike emerged from the closet with four items in his hands. Three were ties, and one was a cord.
- "M-Mike, what are you going to do with that?" she inquired, her voice trembling. Denise wasn't used to it all and had no idea what he had plotted.
- "Do you believe me?" she asked, nodding her head as he kissed her on the cheek.
