Chapter 10

• She looked around the room, in search of him. She saw him by the window, his back was turned to her and he shoved his hands into his pockets. She knew he was aware of her presence. She sighed, he was really a puzzle to solve, she thought. She approached him slowly but he didn't turn to acknowledge her presence. He stood so stiff that he could be passed for a mannequin.
• " Hey "She said softly as she stood beside him and stared out of the window, wondering what caught his attention so much. There was nothing interesting out there, or maybe he was just staring blankly into space.
• He glanced at her briefly and returned his gaze back to the window.
