Chapter 139 Bugging Out

• Rocco didn't know what to do, so he did as he was asked. He prepared their bags and put their clothes in them, he even Googled what to pack in a go bag. He looked at Dee who was making their coffee since she seemed confused and overwhelmed with everything that was going on. Rocco gave her small kisses every now and then, assuring her that everything would be okay. It took him a few more minutes before he called his boss, Gage, and told him what had happened to Rockford.
• "We're fine, Gage. I'm just keeping my promise. Rockford told us to call you and take a few days off. He said you'd know what to do. He had called in a favor to his friend. The previous owner of Babes?"
