Chapter 19 Don't Be Late

• Dinner had been tense and quiet. It was only the sound of cutlery against plates, the dropping of glasses, the shuffling of uncomfortable feet, and the near quiet movement of maids that was heard.
• All through dinner, Eric kept throwing uncomfortable looks at his quiet and less bothered brother who looked as peaceful as still waters, as if it were the first time he would be enjoying his peace of mind after their encounter.
• Eric was sure he would get indigestion and he didn’t eat much. The Alpha and Luna had thrown questioning gazes at him when he opted out, but his brother kept his eyes glued to his plate and kept stuffing his face like nothing else mattered.
