• "I hope you understand why we can't dress you in an expensive gown and jewelry," Alpha Ethan repeats for the umpteenth time as he escorts me towards the row of carriages waiting in his palace courtyard. Some carriages look a bit weathered, while others exudes opulence that scream royalty. One of them will transport me back to Goldcrest.
