Chapter 128

• Roxanne found herself in the wood running as fast as her legs could carry her. She was tired and panting heavily but knew better than to stop.
• She stumbled and fell and tried to move but she couldn't. She saw her chasers approaching her faster than she imagined. Cecile, Loraine, Clara and Ava towering over her and laughing loudly with spite written over their faces.
• Their laughter was so scary and deafening that she shut her ears. Once she opened her eyes while breathing heavily, she realized she had been dreaming.
