• It's mom who has always called to check on me after I left the estate to live with Mia on my own.
• As the timer pops up, I make a gesture with my hand to Linux to go continue what he was doing. "Hello Dad, good morning," I say in a polite voice, trying to fake that good son which I never was but my heart is beating in eagerness to hear what he has to say. If it's something good, I don't want any bad attitude of mine to let it pass me by.
