• My wolf goes along with me on this journey, on the long, dark corridor leading to the meeting room, with my mate on my side, I'm going to face whatever fate has for me. I pray to the moon goddess on the long walk which Gavin has said will take up to ten minutes.
• "Oh Mother, I'm really in need of your help," I pray. "Look down on me with mercy and kindness." My rivalry with Emma has made me forget everything about Gavin being a serial killer, such news escapes my memory. All that matters now is turning the judgment of the pack elders and the Alpha family in my favor.
