• The gloom which had cascaded over me gave way to a very bright aura, I was no longer feeling like someone about to become a prisoner. Amelia's name was documented and she was taken to her cell in the ladies' section.
• "Wait!" The Chief Officer in charge of the prison said to me as my name was taken after Amelia, they wrote it simply as Mia, and I watched this as well, while the secretary was taking it down, her hands were shaking. The CO gestured me to the executive chair in his office. "You'll wait here for me." I just stared at her, too amazed to reply.
