Chapter 47 Tara's Day Preperation

• We all get busy doing everything we can to make Tara’s day perfect. She is my Beta and best friend. She deserves the best. Timmon is an incredible Gamma; he stood by me at my lowest, and I’m so glad the moon goddess paired him with Tara. They are perfect for each other. I believe that the goddess doesn’t make mistakes, though she and I may need to discuss my mating with Kosta. Yes, I chose him, but she made me love him from an early age.
• As I order flowers and set up the catering, I remember my own mating ceremony. I was so in love, so excited, thinking my life and future were perfect, seeing rainbows in the sky. Looking back now, I can see things weren’t as perfect as they seemed. Kosta never loved me the way a mate should. When I see how Timmon looks at Tara, how thrilled he is to be bound to her forever, I have to admit that Kosta and I never had that. Kosta mated with me because he needed me, and it was expected. He came to our ceremony reluctantly; I wasn’t sure he’d even show up until the last minute. Watching Tara and Timmon, I can see how a true mate should love and care for his partner. I never experienced that with Kosta. But tonight is about Tara and Timmon. It’s good to witness true love, and it even gives me hope for my true mate—when I’m ready. I know I still have healing to do.
• I spend the next few hours making sure everything is ready for Tara. I want her to have the magical moment she deserves. I’m doing as much as possible before her parents arrive. Once her mother is here, it’ll be a “mom fest.” Between her mom and mine, it’ll be a crazy but perfect day. The gardens are already a magical paradise, but I want everything to be extra perfect.
