Chapter 6 Don't Get Hurt

• Diana bit her fingernails because she had never been this scared before.
• Since the news of Alpha Darren's office explosion was announced, Diana had not received any news from Alpha Darren since then.
• She had waited for hours until midnight but Alpha Darren did not come home. Whereas usually Alpha Darren always came home even if it was in the dawn, he never didn't come home and left Diana alone at home.
• Many times Diana changed the TV channel and watched the latest news about the explosion, hoping there were no victims. Honestly, she was very worried but she was also reluctant to contact Alpha Darren. So Diana could only wait until Alpha Darren came home.
• But waiting like this just made her think bad thoughts. She was getting frustrated with all of this.
• “I'll wash my hair to cool my head.” Yeah, that's usually what she did when her mind was stuck and when her head was hot from thinking too much.
• Still with the enormous worry that was in her head, Diana started to take a shower. She used a lot of shampoo and did it many times.
• She was in the bathroom for so long that her fingers were wrinkled from being exposed to the water.
• Diana had only one wish, Alpha Darren came home safely. That was all she wanted for now.
• All of a sudden, the sound of the door opening made Diana turn off the shower. She quickly put on a towel and sharpened her hearing. It was true that she heard the sound of someone's footsteps. That's what made her immediately run out of her bedroom wearing only a bath towel.
• And when the person she had been waiting for was in front of her, she was speechless.
• Alpha Darren finally came home even though his clothes were very dirty with stains from the explosion and blood from his injured temple.
• Diana was relieved beyond words. But she pretended to be normal by not showing any expression.
• While it was different with Alpha Darren, he looked very concerned and his breathing was also labored. But when he saw that Diana was fine, it made him so pleased.
• *“You were in your office when the explosion happened?” Diana asked.
• “Yes, I was in the office,” Alpha Darren answered quickly and coldly. He exhaled a sigh of relief. But then he noticed Diana's feet weren't wearing the anklets he'd given her. That made him fume.
• Alpha Darren squatted down and touched Diana's ankle. “Where's your anklet? Why did you take it off?”
• Diana cursed to herself inwardly because she had forgotten to fix her anklet. The thing Alpha Darren had given her on their wedding day had gotten stuck in her shirt when she was about to take a shower and had broken off. She had planned to fix it after her shower, but since she had heard someone enter the house earlier, Diana had forgotten and just walked out.
• “I told you to keep wearing it no matter what. Did you forget?”
• Diana just stared at Darren's Alpha without denying that she was wrong.
• “Where is it?”
• Diana pointed to the bathroom.
• “Sit down, I'll put it on for you.” Alpha Darren went straight to the bathroom to look for Diana's anklet. He found the anklet lying near the basket of dirty clothes and it made him a bit upset because it was like Diana didn't care about his gift and his caring.
• Alpha Darren gave Diana the anklet just so he could know where she was because it would ring when she moved.
• Earlier, when he entered the house and didn't hear the sound of Diana's anklet, he had panicked because he thought Diana wasn't home either. But it turned out that the bracelet was broken.
• While walking towards Diana, Alpha Darren fixed it. Then, he squatted in front of Diana who was sitting on the bed, still wearing a towel.
• Alpha Darren actually wanted to rant, but he held back because he knew Diana would be pissed. So instead of making a scene, he chose to directly attach the anklets to Diana's feet.
• After finishing, Alpha Darren didn't stand up immediately, instead he looked at Diana seriously. “Never take it off again. If it breaks, let me know quickly.”
• Diana nodded in response. But then she realized she was only wearing a towel. By a reflex, she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
• Alpha Darren shook his head at Diana's act, which he thought was adorable. Then he pulled the blanket and wrapped Diana's body with it. “I'm not interested in you, so don't be so confident.”
• Diana glared and was about to hit Alpha Darren but Alpha Darren moved faster. He lifted Diana's body and took her to the dressing room so that Diana can put on her clothes as soon as possible. Because to be honest, Alpha Darren couldn't linger to see Diana only wearing a towel. However, he is also a man who can be tempted, especially since Diana's body is very sexy.
• Alpha Darren cleared his throat before speaking. “I'll take a shower in your room. You can change while I shower.”
• *“Why shower in my room?” Diana asked confused. Because she thought there was no problem with the bathroom in Alpha Darren's room.
• “Why, this room is part of my house too,” Alpha Darren said. Then he walked into the bathroom.
• But Diana held Alpha Darren's hand. *"I will heal your wound first so that it does not sting when exposed to water.” She took one hand out of the blanket and placed it on Alpha Darren's injured temple.
• Diana healed the wound without leaving a mark. Her serious expression during the treatment made Alpha Darren gulp his saliva again.
• Right after Diana withdrew her hand, Alpha Darren went straight into the bathroom before losing control.
• That made Diana instantly turn around. She hurriedly picked out some clothes and put them on before Alpha Darren finished his shower.
• Diana wondered inwardly if Alpha Darren had a dual personality because he was suddenly mean and suddenly nice. It made her so dizzy that she hit her own head absent-mindedly.
